So what will happen at the Men’s groups? I believe it’s vital that these are geared further to establish the healthy biblical culture in the church family while being wholly focused on Biblical Man and spending time together.
We will alternate every other week through at least May on Wednesdays at 7 pm.
Format:
30 minutes of teaching and 30 minutes of discussion
Actions to take before the next gathering
People can hang out as long as they like or head out.

Session 1. Biblical Manhood

Biblical manhood in uncertain times. A man is called to be a servant leader, not a passive husband– to take responsibility for his wife and children and to put their needs ahead of his own. He is called to demonstrate selfless, sacrificial love – the love we see in God toward his children.

Session 2. Dress Your Battle Wounds

The enemy strikes at our vulnerabilities. He aims to seize every weakness he can find. We carry wounds inflicted by others, as well as those we cause ourselves. Unfortunately, hurt is unavoidable; however, through Christ, we find forgiveness and the strength to overcome.

Session 3. Holy Temple

The Bible, specifically in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, highlights the sacredness of our bodies, stating they are temples of the Holy Spirit. The apostle Paul urged the Corinthians to avoid sexual immorality, reminding them that they were bought at a price and should honor God with their bodies. Our bodies, created by God the Father, redeemed by God the Son, and indwelt by God the Holy Spirit, are indeed temples of His Spirit. This makes our bodies the very temple of God's Spirit.

Session 4. Spiritual Disciplines

The Bible, specifically in 1 Cor 9: 26-27 , highlights biblical spiritual disciplines refer to practices that believers (as men) engage in to grow in their faith and deepen their relationship with God. Discipline, in this context, means committing to actions and behaviors that align with spiritual principles, regardless of one’s feelings. These practices are guided by biblical standards and serve to cultivate a more profound sense of devotion and connection to God. Engaging in these disciplines can lead to spiritual transformation and greater understanding of one's faith.

Session 5. Biblical Brotherhood

The biblical concept of brotherhood is a profound and essential aspect of the Christian faith. It calls believers to live in love, unity, and mutual support as members of God's family. Through the teachings of Scripture, Christians are encouraged to embody the principles of brotherhood in their daily lives, reflecting Christ's love for the world.

Session 6. Biblical Conflict

The church is facing significant challenges, and conflict is inevitable. The enemy often uses individuals within the church to create disputes, leading to division. It's essential to prepare for conflict resolution, as the Bible provides guidance on this matter. Effectively handling conflicts can preserve your reputation and open doors, particularly for men.

Session 7. Thriving Marriage

A biblical thriving marriage, rooted in love, respect, and commitment, requires intentional effort to cultivate a strong and lasting relationship. It emphasizes the importance of understanding God's design for marriage, prioritizing each other's needs, practicing forgiveness, and seeking God's guidance in all aspects of the relationship.

Session 8. Developing Your Art

Developing Your Art? As a Christian, one integrates faith and creativity, seeking to use spiritual gifts for God's glory while nurturing a personal relationship with God. This includes seeking guidance from God, engaging with the Christian community, and finding ways to share your Art with others.

The key to influence is using one's passions, gifts, and abilities to make a positive impact on the lives of others, going beyond just financial gain. Peacemakers lead others to Jesus, who is the true source of peace, while acknowledging that there may be some conflict when sharing the gospel. To enhance evangelism and fulfill the Great Commission, it's important to use open-ended questions that foster conversations, build trust, and deepen relationships.

Session 9. Biblical Influence

Session 10. Equipped For Unprecedented Times

God's design for humanity is not one of passivity; rather, we are called to be equipped and productive Christians for Unprecedented Times. This means taking the initiative in our lives and leading our families with a foundation built on prayer, the teachings of the Bible, and meaningful fellowship with others. We must stand firm against the forces of evil, refusing to label what is wrong as right.

Let us not follow the example of Adam, who deflected blame and failed to take responsibility for his actions. When God reaches out to us, He poses the crucial question, "Where are you?", saying, "I am here," ready to engage with integrity and commitment. Embracing our roles as leaders in faith and morality is vital to fulfilling God's purpose for us.
